Soil-protecting measures in process installations, during storage of raw material and end products need to be taken in order to prevent filtering into the ground. A guaranteed durable solution should be offered in order to be able to collect environmentally burdening chemicals.

The type of protection that will be applied and its durability depend on the nature, quantity, concentration and temperature of the chemical liquid, all in relation to the applied system thickness. Seamless systems with a layer thickness of several millimetres are preferred. A technical test for water absorption, polymerisation rate and an inspection of the layer thickness afterwards are therefore essential in order to provide the necessary guarantees.
